As a therapist, storyteller, advocate, traveler, and Southern woman who values politeness with phrases like "please," "thank you," "sir," and "ma'am," I have devoted more than two decades to assisting families and individuals in the community. Lately, my focus has been on offering training seminars, speaking engagements, and therapy services.
My Traveling Adventures

My Story: The Formal Aspect
My mother and I celebrated my first graduation ceremony.
I am proud to have earned a Master's degree in Family Counseling, making me the first in my family to achieve two degrees.
Attaining my Doctorate was a cherished lifelong aspiration. I attribute all my accomplishments to GOD.
Continuation of My Story: The Casual Side
I married a wonderful, supportive husband, Randy. I have unbelievable children (Adam, Kaila, and Jarod), plus my bonus children, Emily and Tristan. Of course, I can’t skip the gbabies (James, Abby, Grant, Aria, and Lane); they make me want to be a better person. Haley, Jackson, Rosie, Jared, and Arie are my additional blessings. Our furbabies are Alexa, Felix, Asher, Binks, Billie, and lucky goldfish.

Dr. Michelle Butler spoke at our “Loving an Addict” Support Group this year. What a blessing it was to have someone so knowledgeable and gracious with the time to come and speak regarding the health of our members. She addressed our spiritual, physical, and emotional health and patiently answered our questions. Someone rarely understands and empathizes with our complicated situations as we navigate seemingly impossible problems.
Dr Butler is a wealth of information, even in our complicated lives as we attempt to love an addict properly.
